Polyester

ผ้าโพลีเอสเตอร์ (Polyester) คือเส้นใยสังเคราะห์ที่เกิดจากกระบวนการเคมีของ Ethylene Glycol และ กรด Terephthalic ซึ่งถ้าให้พูดง่าย ๆ ก็คือเส้นใยที่ถูกผลิตมาจากพลาสติกนั่นเอง ด้วยเหตุนี้จึงทำให้เส้นใยโพลีเอสเตอร์ มีความเหนียว ทนทาน นำไปผลิตเป็นสิ่งทอได้อย่างหลากหลาย ผ้าโพลีเอสเตอร์เป็นที่นิยมมาก สำหรับการนำมาทำเสื้อผ้า อย่างเช่น เสื้อผ้ากีฬา สูท หรือชุดยูนิฟอร์ม เป็นต้น และด้วยคุณสมบัติของผ้าโพลีเอสเตอร์ที่ดูแลง่าย มีความคงทน จึงทำให้ผ้าโพลีเอสเตอร์ถูกนำไปผลิตเป็นกระเป๋า รองเท้าอีกด้วย
